Schumacher: "Ferrari could end Hamilton's career"

Schumacher: “Ferrari podría acabar con la carrera de Hamilton”

According to the tests in Bahrain, it's clear that Charles Leclerc was better than Lewis Hamilton in every aspect of the game. According to Dr. Helmut Marko, although Hamilton is capable of sudden, major improvements, if this doesn't happen, it's over for him...

Ralf Schumacher, who works as a pundit for Sky Sport F1 in Germany, doesn't understand the hysteria surrounding Hamilton. Seeing the test results, he experiences this situation as a state of dissociation from what's happening in public:

"You can't expect great things from him. According to the most optimistic estimates, Hamilton is missing three or four tenths, but it's also true that this isn't a tragedy at the moment. Perhaps he still needs to get used to the car, his new situation, things like that... What's happening right now is equivalent to an earthquake; everyone sees him as a messiah. He's a seven-time world champion who clearly changed teams because he wants to fight for the world title again. In theory, he'll be able to do it, but I'm absolutely certain it won't be in his first year. I think anyone who expects that from him is living in a dream world. Meanwhile, if Charles Leclerc continues to be consistently better than him and stays that way, it's completely clear that for Lewis Hamilton, the end has come, he's already passed his prime. We all know that Scuderia Ferrari isn't very patient with drivers who don't perform... So, ultimately, Ferrari could be the team that buries Lewis's career. All of this could also be true the other way around, if Lewis Hamilton were to beat Charles Leclerc. "But I see little chance of that happening," Ralf Schumacher reflected.
