Even though our online store network and news outlets extend across Europe, we don't want to, nor can we, renounce our Hungarian identity. Therefore, we're excited to inform you that a driver named Verstappen will be participating in Rally Hungary in April!
The center of the event will be, as you know, the beautiful and renovated old town of Veszprém. And behind the wheel will be Jos Verstappen, who has recently become very committed to rallying and plans to complete the entire European Championship season this year. Rally Hungary is part of this, so dear F1 fans from Veszprém and the surrounding area, from April 12 to 14, mark your calendars. Dad Verstappen will also be competing in the Belgian championship and, with more races, plans to have a full season:
"This year we want to participate in 19-20 races. In all the Belgian championship events, all the European Championship races, the Valais Rally, and also a historic Swiss race. We also want to participate in the East African Safari Classic Rally. I think we'll have a fantastic program this year," stated those involved.
Before you ask, no, we can't count on Max Verstappen's appearance, as he'll be at the Bahrain Grand Prix at that point. But let's not be greedy... 😉
