The Ferrari team boss is aware that the moment Lewis Hamilton puts on the red overalls, all hell will break loose. Despite this, Frederic Vasseur has stated that he's not interested in anything other than on-track performance...
The Scuderia boss doesn't care how much attention there will be, he just wants to concentrate on the job, and he demands the same from the newcomer:
"I don't mind the attention; we must focus on the upcoming season. We have a very intense period ahead, starting from the presentation day, and I would like everyone to be focused on performance. The season-opening event, the car presentation, is coming up; that's already two events, which are more than enough. I want us to eliminate the spectacle and just focus on how we can be better. The car presentation is already two events, which, in my opinion, are too many. That's more than enough! I would like the focus to be on improving performance, not the spectacle."

"It's always a big challenge, as it's only six weeks from the beginning of January to the unveiling in London, and it won't be easy. But Lewis is already experienced in these things; he's no rookie, so I'm not afraid of the pressure ahead. He'll only have a few days to adapt to everything before testing, but we have our simulator, where he can familiarize himself with how the steering wheel works, all the car's features, and run qualifying and race simulations. Plus, he'll have a second home in Milan to spend as much time with us as possible." - the team principal reflected on the tasks ahead.
