Red Bull Racing 's new driver has made a strong start, at least in terms of his comments: Yuki Tsunoda has set his sights on nothing less than a podium finish on his home race weekend.
And the best part is that the Japanese driver doesn't even think this would be a great achievement; he doesn't feel that it puts undue pressure on him:
“I spent two days in the simulator , and what I experienced there didn’t seem that serious with the car. The difference I felt was that the front end was very sensitive, but many people had told me that . But if you ask me if it was difficult to drive, I would say not particularly . At least in the simulator. Obviously , we’re going to change my setups; I want to get really familiar with the technique , find my setup , and continuously increase the pace from the first practice session . It’s not good to set my expectations too high , but I have a clear goal: I want to finish on the podium at the Japanese Grand Prix.” – declared Tsunoda with surprising audacity .
