Ralf Schumacher believes it's impossible for Lewis Hamilton to achieve success this year with Scuderia Ferrari; if the team manages to win the individual standings, it will be thanks to Charles Leclerc.
Schumacher doesn't offer a professional explanation for this, he just says it on a hunch:
“I don't know why, but I have the feeling that if Ferrari wins the world title, it will be Charles Leclerc who does it. When you change teams and join a new team in Formula 1, you need at least six to eight months to fully adapt to the work environment and get to know yourself. And I think this is completely independent of how talented, fast, experienced, or hardworking you are. Let's not forget that during that time, Leclerc won't be resting either; on the contrary. He'll be leveraging every skill he can to his advantage. He has his six years of experience, his fluency in Italian, and, of course, the relationships he's built…” the former driver reflected.
