George Russell believes the 2025 season could end ugly, as Lando Norris and his team have an advantage never seen before in the sport.
According to the Briton, there wasn't even that big of a lead when Max Verstappen won almost every race of the season...
“The current McLaren is clearly capable of winning every race. They have a strong partnership, I think they could do it, but life will intervene somehow... Anyway, I've never seen such a big advantage; they're stronger than Red Bull Racing once was. Back then, you knew that if Max was in that car, you'd have virtually no chance of beating him on your own. The season is long, I expect there will be times when not everything goes their way; we have to take advantage of those opportunities.”
"Unfortunately, they're clearly doing better than the rest of the field; the gap becomes more apparent as the tires start to warm up. They've found something incredible there; they're capable of pulling out a huge gap. Of course, we'll keep improving, but overall, I don't think we can put pressure on them on our own." George Russell painted a bleak picture.
