As a first step, without any prior announcement, they put their 2025 car, the MCL39, on track. According to the team and its data, it could be a contender for the throne, and the momentum of recent years will continue.
The numbers, therefore, indicate progress, and the team's drivers promise that this year they will be the ones making the news, and that the press will be full of them... not Max Verstappen.
"I don't think 2025 will be about Max. I think there will be a lot of us there. He's still the driver to beat, having won the last four world championships, but that advantage is no longer so clear.
We're looking forward to this season with more confidence than ever, and we have high expectations of ourselves. We usually start the year weakly, but we believe this trend will change. Consequently, we have a much better chance of getting into the championship race. We don't want to be the hunters, we want to be the hunted!" declared Lando Norris.
"It's going to be extremely close, much more competitive than last year. That's what I expect from 2025! Scuderia Ferrari already showed great strength at the end of last season, and Mercedes also had some outstanding moments. Of course, the main favorite is still Red Bull Racing and Max Verstappen, but we will be there and make their lives very difficult!" - Oscar Piastri shared about the plans.
