According to Red Bull Racing's advisor, Lewis Hamilton is in deep trouble, and he can no longer hide it. The Briton's desperation is completely evident.
Helmut Marko says Hamilton has already lost this year, and is focused on the next:
“The truth is, I see him as quite desperate. I think he's already waiting for the rule changes and his 2026 race car, and he's hoping Scuderia Ferrari will build a car that suits him much better, with which he has a chance of winning his eighth world championship.”
Even Frederic Vasseur doesn't deny that Hamilton hasn't been feeling his best lately, but according to the team boss, this can only benefit him:
“It's clear he's below his level, as he only finished seventh, while Charles Leclerc made the podium. But I think he can take advantage of this, because the real problem would be if he were satisfied. He's not; he's hungry for success, he's motivated, and he's also an exceptional competitor who always wants to get the best out of himself. He doesn't always achieve that, so his frustration is understandable. Now we just have to work and eliminate everything, and I support him 2,000 percent in finding his true form.”
