It's well known that Max Verstappen simulates a lot; this is a very important element of his preparation. However, it's also known that he often loses his mind in virtual races and does things he could never do on a real racetrack.
Jaden Munoz, one of the Williams iRacing Academy drivers, fell victim to this, but he wasn't scared off by his famous opponent and taught him a lesson. To give some context to the story, before the simulated race at Road America, Verstappen had already had an incident at Daytona, but at that time it was ignored by the simulation environment. Not this time... Four-time world champion Verstappen and Munoz immediately collided at the first corner, and the Dutchman was so annoyed that he waited until the back of the field to ram Munoz.
“Look how stupid he is. He never changes. I knew he was going to do this. You're the way you are because you've had everything handed to you your whole life, Max. You're a spoiled brat who'd be a nobody without his father. No one would even know you, you damn idiot…” Munoz complained, using very strong words.
What do you think, was the reaction justified?
