Meanwhile, several Italian media outlets report that Hamilton approached Scuderia Ferrari with the express request that the F40 he envisioned be black (by the way, who would come up with something like that for a blood-red team?). With this, the driver wanted to express his sensitivity toward social justice and his fight against discrimination. Of course, Ferrari could technically have complied with this request, but for purely theoretical reasons, they immediately declined. According to an insider, they also wanted to send the message: "You can't be bigger than Ferrari!"
