Dark clouds are gathering over the Red Bull Racing team, and not even team principal Christian Horner is denying it.
Max Verstappen's surprising victory at the Japanese Grand Prix briefly masked the deepening crisis, but the real blow came in Bahrain...
“The car behaves similarly to last year's model, although I must add that we haven't had any brake issues in 2024. The balance is mainly broken between corner entry and the middle of the corner, which is an aerodynamic issue. The main problem is that we haven't found a solution for this. We understand the issues, but the problem is that the solutions we've tried with our tools aren't aligned with what we're experiencing on track. We need to dig deeper into this, because if the two don't overlap, we won't be able to get out of the hole. Our experts are competent, they've built sensational cars in recent years, and I sincerely trust they can solve these problems as well. We just need to find some solution with our simulator and our wind tunnel, because currently it's as if we're looking at two different clocks with two different times,” Horner stated.
