Scuderia Ferrari's day can be considered a quiet and uneventful one, and any F1 fan knows how significant this is after the first day of testing a new car.
The Bahrain tests are of great importance for all participants, but if there's anyone for whom this is more crucial than anyone, it's undoubtedly Lewis Hamilton. It's a good sign that not only he, but also Charles Leclerc, expressed himself very positively at the end of the first day:
"It's always great to close out a day without any unexpected issues with a new car and without facing any setbacks during your program. Of course, it's too early to talk about performance; we still have a lot of analysis to do, data to process tonight, so we'll be wiser tomorrow," said Leclerc.
"It's exciting to test, I love this part of the year. This is the first time we've been able to see where everyone is, and we can see and feel for ourselves what awaits us. Well, after just one session, I can say it was an incredible feeling driving the SF-25. We're just experimenting right now; the focus is on gathering data and, of course, getting as accustomed to the car as possible. But already after just one day, we've learned a lot, and I'm feeling very good!" Hamilton enthused.
