Günther Steiner believes the driver will be able to feel the support of Ferrari fans and/or the industry for approximately six months.
However, if results don't come in that time, the current hype could easily backfire.
"I'm sure he'll get his time. There will be a grace period during which no one can criticize him. But this won't last forever, and it won't extend to the end of the season. I think, in a maximum of six months, he should be able to show results—and serious results!"
But you don't have to stress about it. As a professional athlete, you would never embark on something you didn't think would suit you, something you couldn't handle. If anyone thinks that way, it's better not to start... And if by chance things go wrong, you can deal with it when it happens.
"Lewis is convinced he will succeed; he doesn't waste unnecessary energy destroying this belief with negative feelings. He will simply give his best, which is nothing less than bringing Scuderia Ferrari back to the top after 2007," reflected Günther Steiner.
It's clear that if he succeeds, he'll surely ascend to heaven as an eight-time world champion. However, if Charles Leclerc surpasses him, the ground beneath his feet could become very hot... Exciting months await!
