Therefore, a new rule has been introduced regarding F1 qualifying. Regarding the quality mentioned in the introduction, most of the debate has revolved around how and on what basis the starting order will be determined if qualifying fails.
The reaction to last year's situation is already here, and if a similar situation were to arise in 2025—that is, if a qualifying situation were to arise—the rule would be that riders would start based on the individual world championship standings.

But what if all this happens in the first race of the year, when there's no world championship points classification yet? Well, in this case, the next option is that the starting order will be determined by the FIA stewards. How they'll do it and under what guidelines is still unknown, but perhaps needless to say, this decision is paving the way for incredible debates...
