How wonderful our childhood was, when Formula 1 cars weren't sterile banners, but walls of hard-edged, anti-PC tobacco advertising... Aston Martin will now give something back to this nostalgia with its new sponsorship deal.
The Greens announced ahead of this weekend's Las Vegas Grand Prix that they will be partners with one of the world's oldest and best-known whisky distilleries, Glenfiddich, starting in 2025. And yes, of course, there will be Aston Whisky too...
"With a limited 1959 bottle, we're paying homage to a momentous occasion in the history of motorsport and the team. That year, Aston Martin made its Formula 1 debut and won at Le Mans. That's why we're delving into the Glenfiddich cellar and bringing our long-aged nectar to the surface," said Brian Kinsman on behalf of the company.

"Las Vegas is a perfect place to kick off our partnership, and we're thrilled to be working with Glenfiddich. The goal is to deliver an unforgettable experience for both motorsports enthusiasts and whisky aficionados!" said Lawrence Stroll.
